Kre8tors Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge

Today I'm back with my fellow Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, sharing our creativity globally through our Kre8tors Blog Hop group.

Our theme this month is a 'Sketch Challenge' with everyone completing a similar layout, based on this sketch.

I love the way these challenges are the same but so different. For todays 'hop' I chose to use the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Speciality Paper #146907, my first creations with these beautiful papers.

For todays colours I chose Gray Granite, Soft Sea Foam and Berry Burst.

The Little Elephant bundle #148338 (W) #148340 (C) is so cute and having a coordinating punch makes it even better !

I only wanted the 'Hello' on my sentiment but the Hello Little One didn't need to be masked off as I covered over with the banner!

I'm loving these new laser cut papers and they have many panels and strips die-cut and ready to use. They are very delicate so I used the Fine-Tip Glue pen #138309 to adhere them to the base card.

Alaska Achievers Blog Hop - Showcasing New Annual Catalogue

Welcome back for another Alaska Achievers Monthly Blog Hop with fellow Demonstrators globally, who have also earned the prestigious Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip, that only a limited number around the world achieve.

We really are starting to count down the number of weeks (and days) before we leave on this special trip.

I'm busy working hard to create some little cards to give to people I hope will make our holiday a special experience.

Time has really not been on my side this week and so I'm sharing these cute little 7cm mini cards, created in the FIVE New in-Colours for 2018-2020.

These cards were CASED from fellow Demonstrator Ronda Wade on one of her Demo Team Training classes. These were so cute, I changed the measurements to fit our UK size A4 card, so they ended up 7cm square. Enabling SIX bases from one sheet of cards and still fitting inside Stampin' Up! mini square envelopes and then into a pizza box as a gift.

This is a cute little set but I am making into Random Act of Kindness cards and appreciation cards.

These colours weren't my favourite when I first saw them, however playing with them they are definitely growing on me and I look forward to using them over the next few weeks, as I prepare for my trip.

Friends of SUBA - June Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to today's Blog Hop with Friends of SUBA, Simply Unique Business Angels, featuring a Masculine theme.

I'm busy writing checklists for my fabulous holiday coming up this summer. This journey is our bucket list destination, earning my very first Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip on an Alaskan Cruise. To say I'm excited is an understatement !

Something I am planning to do is to give away Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) cards to people I meet along the way, who give a great service or have helped us in some way. Staff at the various airports, hotels and cruise ship might receive one of my little Thank You cards, pre-written and ready to hand over, when I think someone has 'gone the extra mile'.

For todays 'hop' I decided to share some for the 'men' that I hope will make our holiday of a lifetime, a great experience. In order to distinguish whether card is a male or female theme, I am have decorated the envelope to coordinated with the colourings of the card inside.

The Thank You Thinlits Die #146832 was one of the first items to be added to my Wishlist. I love the Happy Birthday one and knew this would be equally as useful.

I have used the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper #146338 on all of these cards.

Stampin' Up! make it so much easier to have beautifully created cards with their Designer Series Papers coordinating with cardstock colours. Adding packs of cardstock in three of the most prominent colours within the DSP pack is even better.

Adding a little texture today, is the beautiful Subtle Textured Embossing Folder #143706. I totally missed this in the catalogue until someone pointed it out, featured at the bottom right corner on page p21 in the new Annual Catalogue.

Each Thank You Diecut image was embossed with this texture. Here is a close up for you to see in more detail ……

Be sure that these two Big Shot products will be appearing again later this week, when I share some of the cards I'm creating for the ladies who I'm hoping will give us a great holiday experience.
