CASE Challenge 11 - Magic card

Hello and welcome back for another CASE Challenge with my Demonstrator friends Emma and Becki.

Week 11 on the CASE challenge is inspired by our Demonstrator colleague Becky Christensen with her Magic card.  I love this style of work and was so looking forward to creating todays project.  You can find her blog  HERE.
I am so grateful to my fellow stampers today for choosing Becky's inspiration.  This is the first 'magic card' I have made !  One slight little blooper but hope it's OK !
I've been working on some projects with the Santa's Workshop Speciality Designer Papers #147809 for my main 'big' Festive Retreat project.  These papers have been soooooo popular and sadly were on backorder / low inventory recently, but so pleased they arrived in time !  Definitely one of my favourite suites in the Autumn/Winter catalogue 2018.
The reverse of this holly paper contains a whole page of images that can be die cut using Santa's Signpost Framelits Dies #147911.  Such a waste to use a piece for a card front, but sometimes needs must.
Having made my 'magic' hidden layer, I used our Stamparatus Tool #148187 to position the stamps on the acetate layer, before stamping with Stazon Jet Black Ink #101406.  The Stamparatus made this so easy.  Honestly, the more you use it, the more you will love it.  I now have 10 to package up to their new homes from last weeks show.  There's going to be some very happy customers in the next few days.

I hope you have enjoyed my first 'magic card'.  I'm sure there will be some more in the next few months to share with you.

Remember to pop over and visit Becki HERE and then on to Emma HERE and see their take on today's challenge.
Next weeks challenge
Next week we will be creating our inspiration from Kylie Betucci and her creations, making small envelopes from Designer Series Papers for use with Memories & More cards or other small notelets.   You can see Kylie's blog HERE  I love this style of card and am looking forward to creating one this week to share with you.

Pop back next Monday to see our inspired creations and also find out who is chosen as our spotlight designer for the following week.
If you would like to join in this challenge, feel free to CASE Becky's card, take a photo and email me or upload to my Sandra's Stamp & Craft Studio Facebook page. I can't wait to see all the different versions we create together.  We’ll share the photos we receive in next Monday’s post.

Papercrafting Blog Hop - Fall / Thanksgiving theme

Welcome back to another hop around the globe with my fellow Demonstrators sharing projects with a Halloween theme.  You may be starting the hop with me or just arrived from someone else in the loop, but you won't want to miss anyone so I've listed everyone at the bottom of this post.

A warm welcome to you joining me, Sandra, here in the UK for todays hop.

Those Autumn leaves are definitely falling in all their colourful glory.  Thinking of which stamp set to use, I immediately went to my Painted Harvest #144783 stamp set, together with the coordinating Leaf Punch #144667.

It's always nice rejuvenating a set that has sadly been a bit neglected of late, due to all the wonderful Christmas selection I'm using for classes and Retreats.

The Sunflowers were stamped in Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede inks, then 'fussy cut' with our Paper Snips #103579.
Here is a close up of the leaves that have been stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on Old Olive card, and then Old Olive ink on Pear Pizzazz card.  All made so much easier to have a coordinating Leaf punch !
I hope you have enjoyed my Fall / Thanksgiving theme project today and that enjoy the rest of your day.

Here are all the participants this month.  Simply click on the 'Next' button to hop to Sue and continue along your hop around the globe.

CASE Challenge 10 - Twist & Pop card

Hello and welcome back for another CASE Challenge with my Demonstrator friends Emma and Becki.

Week 10 on the CASE challenge is inspired by our Demonstrator colleague Carol B with her Twist & Pop card.  I love this style of work and was so looking forward to creating todays project.  You can find her blog  HERE.
For my project today, I have chosen to use the Peaceful Noel stamp set #147694.
The Joyous Noel Speciality Designer Series Papers #147816 have foiled elements that really make this paper so gorgeous, you only need minimal decoration.
For my decoration, I've added some Sprig Punch #148012 leaves and some punched from our wonderful new Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper #147817.  The berries are also punched from the Merry Merlot Glimmer Paper using an office hole punch.
Hopefully you have enjoyed this card today.  There are lots of versions of this around, but I was pleased that my class attendees thought mine was the simplest way to do !  The instructions are quite long, mainly because of so many photos, but if you would like a copy, please leave me a comment below.

Remember to pop over and visit Becki HERE and then on to Emma HERE and see their take on today's challenge.
