Papercrafting Blog Hop - Sale-A-Bration

Welcome back to another hop around the globe with my fellow Demonstrators sharing projects with a 'Sale-A-Bration' theme.  You may be starting the hop with me or just arrived from someone else in the loop, but you won't want to miss anyone's inspiration, so I've listed everyone at the bottom of this post.

Today I am sharing a new style of card I introduced to my recent Butterfly Gala classes.  It looks complicated but really is easy when you know how !
Several people don't realise just by looking at the Designer Series Paper in the Sale-A-Bration booklet, that the papers are actually coloured on one side and 'black & white' on the other.

These papers have been so well designed, being able to punch several sheets of the butterflies with the coordinating punch.

The class made one coloured set and one 'black and white' set.

I hope you have enjoyed my Sale-A-Bration themed project today and that  you enjoy the rest of your hop round the globe today.

Here are all the participants this month.  Simply click on the 'Next' button to hop to Sandy and continue along your hop around the globe.

HOME DECOR SU STYLE - February

Hi and welcome to our Home Décor 'hop' around the Globe, Stampin' Up! Style.

You have currently joined me, Sandra, here in Norfolk, UK and today I'm sharing a different style of frame art .

This frame was given to me by one of my downline team, clearing the last 3 on the shelf !  It was perfect for me to transform for todays project and I enjoyed having a relaxed craft session to get completed the same day (that really makes a change !!)
I chose the 'All My Love' Suite, with the Forever Lovely stamp set and Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies bundle. Don't forget that purchasing these together, you save 10% on the individual price.

The All My Love Designer Series Papers co-ordinate so well with this set, although changing the colours, it no longer has to be for the romanics amongst us.

See how the Framelits Dies even emboss this at the same time as cutting.  Such fabulous designing once again Stampin' Up!

The background was stamped all over using Crumb Cake ink and the stack of hearts stamp from the bundle.

The Lined Alphabet Stamp Set letters have been stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink pad and Die-cut using Layering Alphabet Edgelits Dies.

To complete, a few Clear Rinestone Jewels added a bit of 'bling'.

SUBA - Spring Colour Combo

Hi and welcome to today's Blog Hop with Friends of SUBA, Simply Unique Business Angels, showcasing a Spring themed Colour Combination.

You may have just hopped over from Leigsha and her wonderful inspiration and now a very warm welcome here, currently visiting Sandra at my Stamp & Craft Studio here in Norfolk, UK.

Our colour combo today is Petal Pink, So Saffron and Garden Green.
Today I am using the Lovely Lattice stamp set #149730 which is one of the choices available from the Sale-A-Bration promotion until 31st March.
I stamped the floral image twice onto Whisper White card #106549, adding a sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad #132708 and then adding subtle background texture with the Pinewood Planks Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #143708.  The second image was coloured and then fussy cut by hand, adding a 3D dimension to my card and adding some Basic Pearl Jewels #144219 to the centre of some flowers.
There's something very therapeutic about watercolouring.  Here I used Petal Pink #147009, Garden Green #108605 and So Saffron #147109 ink pads. Here I've made it that little bit more special, using an old Wink of Stella #141897 as a waterbrush, adding a few drops of water and shaking to release some mica paint from the inside of the barrel and give my images a bit of sparkle.
