COLOUR COMBO BLOG HOP - July 2018

Hi and welcome back for another hop around the globe with Stampin' Up! Demos round the world, for our next Colour Combo challenge.

For my project today, I wanted to get messy with some inking techniques to create a background.

I started by tapping edge of Petal Pink, Balmy Blue and Night of Navy over a laminated grid sheet.

Next, I spritzed with a fine mist of water and let the water-based ink colours start to move around the surface.
Smooch a piece of Thick Whisper White card in the inks, making sure to catch all over the card.  Allow to dry fully before attaching to Night of Navy card base.

Sentiment has been stamped in Night of Navy ink and Die-cut using Stitched Shaped Framelits #145372.  Edges sponged with Petal Pink ink #147108.

The decorative border was created punching a strip of Night of Navy card using Decorative Ribbon Border punch #143721Tabs were made from scraps of Petal Pink, Balmy Blue and Night of Navy card and tucked under the sentiment.
Finally a 'bit of bling' was added with some Clear Rhinestone Gems #144220.

I hope you have enjoyed my little inky smooch today  and enjoy hopping round the globe clicking on links below.  Click on the 'next' button below to hop to Sue and see what she has created for you today.
