Welcome to the monthly Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. For this month's hop, we are all showcasing our favourite technique. You are currently visiting Sandra from Norfolk, UK. I hope you enjoy the project I'm sharing with you today.
There are so many techniques I love, it was hard to choose one. However, today I decided to share the 'Bokeh' technique, great for creating backgrounds and one I loved teaching.
Planning for this hop, I jumped back to a couple of last years In-Colours, Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst, adding in some Blackberry Bliss, a returning colour, and using these for my base and mat layers.
To create this effect, I misted a piece of Watercolour Paper #122959 with a fine spray of clean water. Whilst still wet, coordinating reinkers were applied in splodges using an Aqua Painter #103954. Make sure this is completely dry, using a Heat Tool #129054.
Having punched a variety of circles from scrap card, I used a Sponge Dauber #133773 and Craft White Stampin' Pad & Refill #147277 to sponge circles randomly over the coloured splodges. To finish I use the rubber on the end of a new pencil as a smaller circle with the White ink too.
Dandelion Wishes #146744 (W) #146747 (C) images were stamped using Versamark #102283 and Black Stampin' Emboss Powder #146956.
I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have inspired you & brightened your day. Please see the list below and enjoy hopping through all of the people participating below and all their wonderful projects. You won't want to miss any!
