I hope you are enjoying our Happy Fathers Day Blog Hop, along with your favourite cuppa ! Today I am 'hopping' with fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. You may have joined me Sandra Roberts, here in the UK and I hope you enjoy our hop today.
Today's hop we are all featuring the theme 'Happy Fathers Day' and/or cards for the Men in our lives.
This is my first time creating with the Rooted in Nature bundle #148352(W) #148353(C) and as I don't have any close male relatives with us now, I have made one general card but in manly colours and one that the greeting can be changed.
My first card was starting to feel like a Christmas card, as it is cold and miserable weather here at the moment and I have the heater on behind me in my Craft Studio.
The sentiment is very generalistic and can be used just to say ....
For my next card is used a different piece of Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper in the Suite #146338 and loved how the wood effect looks so realistic.
The spruce trees were coloured with Stampin' Markers, using Soft Suede for the trunk and a combination of Garden Green and Mossy Meadow for the greenery.
The Linen Thread #104199 just adds some nice detail under the sentiment from the new Itty Bitty Greetings #146664(W) #146667(C), in the new Annual Catalogue on 1st June.
I hope you have enjoyed my creative shares today and enjoy continuing along your 'hop' today, by clicking on Rhonda to enjoy your creative tour round the Globe. We love to hear what you like about our projects, so please stop and leave a comment along the way.
