Kre8tors Blog Hop - Birthday theme

Today I'm back with my fellow Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, sharing our creativity globally through our Kre8tors Blog Hop group.   You join me here in Norfolk, UK and looking forward to sharing my Birthday theme cards with you today.

Firstly, we wish Melissa, our blog host, a very Happy Birthday today.  A great choice of hop theme!

For todays challenge, I was back playing with my Brusho Crystal Colours #144101.  You may have seen some of my last work using these a couple of months ago.
This topper was created on Watercolour Paper #122959. Here I have used my favourite Moss Green colour.  These are little tiny pots of pigment inks when mixed with water will spread.   You can see how the pigment 'dust' landed, ironically with the purple hues in the centre of the flower.  It is very difficult to control the colours as they are so fine, so to achieve this result I was very pleased.
The Daisy Delight stamp #143669 was stamped in Versamark  ink #102283 and stamped onto the card.  This was then sprinkled with Copper Embossing Powder #141636 and melted with a Heat Tool #129054.

Sprinkling the Moss Green powder onto the dry card, you will hardly see the tiny specks.  However, once spritzed with a very fine water spray, the inks will come alive.  using a paint brush will help you fill the ink into the raised petal edges.

This topper was then mounted onto a Highland Heather mat layer and mounted with 3D Stampin' Dimensionals onto a Pear Pizzazz card base.

Finally, Gorgeous Grape 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon #146940 was tied and knotted beside sentiment, from Perennial Birthday #145760 stamped in Stazon Jet Black Ink #101406.

I hope you have been inspired by my little contribution today.  Enjoy the rest of your 'hop' around the globe today by clicking the arrow to visit Kirsteen and see the wonderful creations she has to share with you.  We do really appreciate reading your lovely comments on our posts.
