Hi and welcome
back, joining myself and fellow Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, sharing
our creativity globally through our Kre8tors Blog Hop group. You join me
here in Norfolk, UK and looking forward to sharing my Christmas themed projects
with you today.
Today I'm sharing with you another of my Creative Festive Retreat weekend projects, completed by three groups of ladies last month. During the weekend, they created an Advent box that was all made completely from scratch, with lots of cutting, scoring and above all, patience. This was the Saturday evening project to chill out with.
Whilst decorating their Advent box during the first full day, I encouraged them to stamp, die-cut and set aside a few extra images from the Santa's Workshop Suite, using the Signs of Santa stamp set #147690 and die-cut using the Santa's Signpost Framelits Dies #147911.
The plaque was painted with Gesso and then stippled with White Embossing Paste #141979 using the Palette Knives 142808. Whilst wet, Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter #133751 was sprinkled over and excess tapped back into the pot.
I couldn't get the photo to show clearly but the sky has been stamped with snowflakes, using Versamark Pad #102283 and sprinkled with retired Heat & Stick powder. Once melted, this turns to a sticky glue residue and was again covered with Dazzling Diamonds, for extra sparkle.
All the cute characters from this suite, were attached using Stampin' Dimensionals #104430, some single and some double to add dimension.
Finally, Fine-Tip Glue Pen #138309 was applied to some of the features and more Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter...….. it is Christmas after all !
