Kre8tors Blog Hop ~ Occasions/SAB Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hi and welcome back, joining myself and fellow Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, sharing our creativity globally through our Kre8tors Blog Hop group.   You join me here in Norfolk, UK and looking forward to sharing my Occasions/Sale-A-Bration Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge projects with you today.  Here in the UK we know it as 'Noughts & Crosses' !

The idea of this challenge is for participants to choose a line in any direction, making sure to include all those three elements in challenge project, still featuring at least one NEW Occasions or Sale-A-Bration product.

Todays Tic,Tac,Toe challenge board
Humming Along stamp set #148758 was one of the NEW Spring/Summer products we received at Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention last November in Orlando.   Hummingbird Framelits #148538, together with some more Stampin' Blends to add to my collection, were in this weeks exciting delivery, so determined my colour palette for today.

In choosing what to create, I have gone for the diagonal line Sequins, Punch, Ribbon
To start with I stamped a couple of the gorgeous flowers and leaves from Humming Along #148758 using Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad #132708 onto Shimmery White card #121717.  In a small scrap corner, I also stamped two small butterflies from one of my new favourite sets, Butterfly Gala bundle #150599 and cut out using the Butterfly Duet punch.  All images were coloured using a variety of light and dark Stampin' Blends pictured in the photo.
The sentiments from the same set were stamped onto Basic Black card, using an Embossing Buddy #103083 and Versamark Ink Pad #102283.  Sprinkling with White Stampin' Emboss Powder #109132 and heating with our Heat Tool #129054, the sentiments were then cut out using the lovely framelit from the bundle.  Did you see those little swirls in the corner ?  They were the 'waste' from the Die-cutting and too good to throw away.

My first card used the Highland Heather from Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper #148554 on Whisper White layer and Basic Black base card.  The pretty slots created by the sentiment die, made an idea mechanism to thread ribbon through and wrap round to neatly fasten on the reverse of the card.  The Floral image and leaf were mounted on 3D Stampin' Dimensionals #104430.
The 2nd card uses the Crackle Paint background stamp #148752 stamped in Soft Sea Foam #147102 ink pad.  One of the 'mesh' effect die from the bundle, were cut out from Soft Sea Foam card and snipped into three small pieces.  A small bow was tied using the Daffodil Delight from Organdy Ribbon Combo pack #149623 another one of the FREE product choices from Sale-A-Bration until 31st March 2019.
Both cards used the sequins from the Gingham Gala Adhesive-backed Sequins #148561.  I really love how there are so many products and suites and coordinate with the fresh colours of the Gingham Gala Suite featured on page 34/35 of the Spring/Summer 2019 catalogue.
