Welcome back to another hop around the globe with my fellow Demonstrators sharing our 'Sale-A-Bration' themed projects. You may be starting the hop with me or just arrived from someone else in the loop, but you won't want to miss anyone's inspiration, so I've listed everyone at the bottom of this post.
I have to admit that I am really addicted to the Botanicals Butterfly Designer Series Papers #149622. Stampin' Up! have excelled again, with their perfect coordination of products, not just in this suite, but also with two coordinating Sale-A-Bration products, you can choose for FREE.
Today I am sharing a set of quick note cards. The card bases use two sheets of Thick White card #140490 plus another sheet for the 9cmx9cm layer. With the long side of A4 card at the top of the trimmer, cut three pieces at the 9.9cm mark, turn and score at 10cm and cut away excess. I know this is a strange measurement but 10cm is a common size but the card is 3mm short of 30cm, taking 1mm off each piece is hardly noticeable but gives you three cards from one sheet of card.
The butterflies are simply punched from the Designer Series Paper and attached to the card by the centre body using Tombow Adhesive #110755.
These note cards have been simply stamped with a sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set, added one large and two small butterflies punched from the papers, then tied together using another FREE Sale-A-Bration product, the Organdy Ribbon Combo pack #149623.
I love the 'white on white' look and to add a tiny bit of texture, I used the Subtle Texture Embossing Folder #143706.
Unsure what to buy but LOVE these Designer Series papers ? Then why not purchase the Butterfly Gala Bundle #150599, Gingham Gala Cardstock pack #148557 and Tombow Multi-purpose adhesive #110755 for £45 and receive the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper #149622 totally FREE ?
I hope you have enjoyed my Sale-A-Bration themed projects today and that you enjoy the rest of your hop round the globe today.

That organdy ribbon is such a pretty way to package a set of cards. It makes a project look so well coordinated when you can get ribbon to match the inks and papers.
ReplyDeleteI love your idea of a set of note cards and the way you went about getting the right measurements to get the most out of a sheet of cardstock. I also love your simple, easy cards.
