Welcome to our monthly Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Sandra from Norfolk, UK and I hope you enjoy todays creative projects, as you hop around the globe. Our theme today is Birthdays and other than Christmas, this is probably the next most popular card theme !
Today I am sharing with you a birthday card that my Stamp-A-Stack class groups created last month and knew it would be ideal for today's birthday theme.
The card features the Piece of Cake bundle #150579. This is one of the products you can buy individually Piece of Cake stamp set #148610 and Cake Builder punch #148525, however, purchasing as a bundle together you save 10%.
Sadly since I planned this, the punch is currently on back order. However, we have been advised that it WILL be carrying over into the next Annual Catalogue release so when supplies are replenished, I'm sure we will be able to order once again.
My card has a Grey Granite case card #147008, with a mat layer of Lemon & Lime Twist card #144250 with Scattered Sequins Textured Embossing Folder #145649.
The topper uses a layer of Blueberry Bushell card #146991 and Very Vanilla card #106550. I stamped the sentiment randomly in Grey Granite ink pad #147118 and also the base of the cake stand.
For the cake itself, I stamped image in Blueberry Bushell ink pad #147138 and punched both cake pieces with the Cake Builder punch.
The Vellum cardstock 106584 was punched using the Starburst punch #143717.
My close-up shows you the tiny green glimmer dots punched with the Handheld Circle punch #134365. The dots were punched from scraps of a retired Myths & Magic Glimmer. I love this colour and was so pleased to see it was the same used in the Incredible Like You Project Kit #148552. This is a great technique for using scraps but hurry, because this handheld punch is on limited supply !
I hope you like my project today and will continue 'hopping' around the globe for more inspiration from my talented Demonstrator colleagues.

Sandra, your card is awesome! I really like how you stamped the background sentiment in Grey Granite (one of my new favs) and how clever to punch out coordinating green glimmer dots - must try this! x
