Papercrafting Blog Hop - Sale-A-Bration

Welcome back to another hop around the globe with my fellow Demonstrators sharing our 'Sale-A-Bration' themed projects.  You may be starting the hop with me or just arrived from someone else in the loop, but you won't want to miss anyone's inspiration, so I've listed everyone at the bottom of this post.

I have to admit that I am really addicted to the Botanicals Butterfly Designer Series Papers #149622.  Stampin' Up! have excelled again, with their perfect coordination of products, not just in this suite, but also with two coordinating Sale-A-Bration products, you can choose for FREE.

Today I am sharing a set of quick note cards.  The card bases use two sheets of Thick White card #140490 plus another sheet for the 9cmx9cm layer.  With the long side of A4 card at the top of the trimmer, cut three pieces at the 9.9cm mark, turn and score at 10cm and cut away excess.  I know this is a strange measurement but 10cm is a common size but the card is 3mm short of 30cm, taking 1mm off each piece is hardly noticeable but gives you three cards from one sheet of card.

The butterflies are simply punched from the Designer Series Paper and attached to the card by the centre body using Tombow Adhesive #110755.
These note cards have been simply stamped with a sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set, added one large and two small butterflies punched from the papers, then tied together using another FREE Sale-A-Bration product, the Organdy Ribbon Combo pack #149623.
I love the 'white on white' look and to add a tiny bit of texture, I used the Subtle Texture Embossing Folder #143706.
Unsure what to buy but LOVE these Designer Series papers ?  Then why not purchase the Butterfly Gala Bundle #150599, Gingham Gala Cardstock pack #148557 and Tombow Multi-purpose adhesive #110755 for £45 and receive the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper #149622 totally FREE ?
This is a smaller close up of the same group with the FREE Organdy Ribbon.

I hope you have enjoyed my Sale-A-Bration themed projects today and that  you enjoy the rest of your hop round the globe today.

Kre8tors Blog Hop ~ Occasions/SAB Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hi and welcome back, joining myself and fellow Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, sharing our creativity globally through our Kre8tors Blog Hop group.   You join me here in Norfolk, UK and looking forward to sharing my Occasions/Sale-A-Bration Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge projects with you today.  Here in the UK we know it as 'Noughts & Crosses' !

The idea of this challenge is for participants to choose a line in any direction, making sure to include all those three elements in challenge project, still featuring at least one NEW Occasions or Sale-A-Bration product.

Todays Tic,Tac,Toe challenge board
Humming Along stamp set #148758 was one of the NEW Spring/Summer products we received at Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention last November in Orlando.   Hummingbird Framelits #148538, together with some more Stampin' Blends to add to my collection, were in this weeks exciting delivery, so determined my colour palette for today.

In choosing what to create, I have gone for the diagonal line Sequins, Punch, Ribbon
To start with I stamped a couple of the gorgeous flowers and leaves from Humming Along #148758 using Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad #132708 onto Shimmery White card #121717.  In a small scrap corner, I also stamped two small butterflies from one of my new favourite sets, Butterfly Gala bundle #150599 and cut out using the Butterfly Duet punch.  All images were coloured using a variety of light and dark Stampin' Blends pictured in the photo.
The sentiments from the same set were stamped onto Basic Black card, using an Embossing Buddy #103083 and Versamark Ink Pad #102283.  Sprinkling with White Stampin' Emboss Powder #109132 and heating with our Heat Tool #129054, the sentiments were then cut out using the lovely framelit from the bundle.  Did you see those little swirls in the corner ?  They were the 'waste' from the Die-cutting and too good to throw away.

My first card used the Highland Heather from Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper #148554 on Whisper White layer and Basic Black base card.  The pretty slots created by the sentiment die, made an idea mechanism to thread ribbon through and wrap round to neatly fasten on the reverse of the card.  The Floral image and leaf were mounted on 3D Stampin' Dimensionals #104430.
The 2nd card uses the Crackle Paint background stamp #148752 stamped in Soft Sea Foam #147102 ink pad.  One of the 'mesh' effect die from the bundle, were cut out from Soft Sea Foam card and snipped into three small pieces.  A small bow was tied using the Daffodil Delight from Organdy Ribbon Combo pack #149623 another one of the FREE product choices from Sale-A-Bration until 31st March 2019.
Both cards used the sequins from the Gingham Gala Adhesive-backed Sequins #148561.  I really love how there are so many products and suites and coordinate with the fresh colours of the Gingham Gala Suite featured on page 34/35 of the Spring/Summer 2019 catalogue.

I hope you have been inspired by my little contribution today.  Enjoy the rest of your 'hop' around the globe today by clicking the arrow to visit Su and see the wonderful creations she has to share with you.  We do really appreciate reading your lovely comments on our posts.

Stamp 'N Hop - SAB = Sale-A-Bration

Hi and welcome back to another hop around the globe with our Stamp 'N Hop group.  My name is Sandra and you are joining me here in Norfolk, UK.

Today we are all featuring items from the new Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration catalogue, which launched only a few days ago.  We all love this time of year as all items in that little brochure are all free with a  qualifying purchase !

One of the first product choices to catch my eye were the beautiful Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Papers #149622 and totally FREE with a £45 purchase from any of the current catalogues.
These papers are absolutely gorgeous and I hope you get to see some in real life as soon as possible.

Being in the UK, we don't get to buy Hershey nugget bars but I was determined to buy some on my trip to Orlando in November for Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention.  Such a simple decoration for a sweet treat.
It's really difficult to be able to get good photos showing the Wink Of Stella #141897 glitter on these butterflies, you'll just have to trust me on this one !

There are lots of different versions of mini calendars this time of year.  This is one that my 'Stamp-A-Stack' classes will all be making during January.  Measurements for my simple easel calendar will be posted on my blog here tomorrow, so be sure to pop back for a quick and easy New Year gift or giveaway.
