Ink & Share Blog Hop ~ March 2018

Today I'm participating with some fellow Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, sharing our creativity globally through the above Blog Hop.

This month we have a Spring / Easter theme so for todays 'hop' I went back to recreate a project I made for a class several years ago, featuring the Envelope Punch Board #133774 to make an Easter basket for my 10-year old niece who will be staying with us over Easter.
Start with an 8" square of Crumb Cake card #121685.  Insert into Envelope Punch Board #133774 at the 2" measurement.  Punch and score as far as you can go.  Turn and repeat at the 2" mark on all four sides.  Flip over and repeat at 2" on all FOUR sides, punching and scoring as you go.

Hold card as in photo below and snip up from the bottom middle two sections up to the centre square.  Turn and repeat on opposite side.
Using the Hardwood background stamp #133032 (W) #133035 (C) ink up with Soft Suede ink pad #126978 and stamp all over, using scrap paper and/or Post-It Notes to make off areas as required.
Bring the side panels in and attach in place, making sure the top is level.  Apply Tombow Adhesive #110755 to the end triangles and glue inside the basket.
Apply Tombow to the remaining panels at the top on the triangle and lightly down each outside edges.  Fold in and turn over the top triangle.

To decorate, cut FOUR panels of Always Artichoke card #108610 at 6.5cm x 5.5cm and FOUR panels of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper #144137 at 6cm x 5cm.  Adhere together using Tombow adhesive and attach to each ends and sides.

For the handles cut strip of Always Artichoke card at 21cm x 2.5cm.  Cut two strips of Delightful Daisy DSP at 20.5cm x 2cm.  Adhere one to each side of handle (inside and outside), leaving a small border round all sides.  Attach handle in place on the outside of the basket.

To finish decoration, stamp FOUR daisies from the Daisy Delight stamp set #144137 on Whisper White card #106549 using Daffodil Delight ink pad #126944 and punched out using the Daisy Punch #143713.

Curl the leaves slightly and attach two layers together, off-setting the centres.  Attach a Gold Faceted Gem #144141 in the centre of each flower.  Attach one flower to each end of basket handle.

Your basket is now ready to fill with shredded paper and small Easter Eggs.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today and  perhaps be inspired to grab your Envelope Punch Board and make one for yourself.

Happy Birthday Blog Hop

I hope you are enjoying our Happy Birthday Blog Hop. I’m hopping with fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and Quebec, Canada....

Today’s hop features Stampin' Up! products used to celebrate Happy Birthdays. With 233 pages in our Annual Catalogue, plus the Spring /Summer Occasions and Sale-A-Bration brochure, we have lots of options to share with you!

My hop entry is below so let's get started.

Today I am sharing the Tranquil Tulips Hostess set #143767 and the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die #143700.  The hostess set can be earned for free by holding a party or workshop with any Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator but book quickly as the catalogue will retire to make way for new hostess sets from 1st June.

I love the two-step effect that this stamp set gives and looks great in many lovely colours.  This Happy Birthday Die has been Die-cut twice and layered together, to create a two-tone effect.
Another look using the set without Birthday theme but could look equally as nice using the smaller Happy Birthday  from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set #130042 (W) #120024 (C).

My last project was a small notelet to enclose with a birthday gift using the small flowers in the same Tranquil Tulip stamp set.

Thank you for 'hopping' along with us again today and hope you enjoy your journey round the world, visiting our talented Demonstrators.  We really appreciate your comments.

Alaska Achievers Blog Hop ~ March 2018

Welcome back for another Alaska Achievers Monthly Blog Hop with fellow Demonstrators globally, who have also earned the prestigious Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip, that only a limited number around the world achieve.

The months seem to be ticking away so fast, and already we are nearing the end of our 3-month Sale-A-Bration promotion.  Today is the last month we will feature SAB products but the Spring/Summer catalogue remains current until the end of May.
My project today uses the Amazing You stamp set #147212 (W) #147215 (C) from Sale-A-Bration.

The base card is Sahara Sand card #121695 with a Basic Black card #121688 mat layer and a Whisper White card #106549 top layer.

Using Sahara Sand ink pad #126976, I stamped the flower from Amazing You randomly all over the white layer, making sure to go off the edges of the card.  The image was stamped again onto a scrap of Whisper White card and 'fussy cut' using Stampin' Up! fabulous Paper Snips #103579 ~ these are definitely the best scissors I have used, so sharp and snipping right to the very point, simply wonderful !

A narrow strip of Basic Black card was attached across the lower part of the top layer and Whisper White Bakers Twine #124262 tied round the layer before adhering to the remaining layers.  Tie a bow on the front beside the flower topper mounted on Stampin' Dimensionals #104430

Sentiment was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink pad #140931 on a scrap of Sahara Sand card and punched out using the Classic Label punch #141491.  Mount this using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals #144108 to the right of the flower.
To finish off, this card had to have a bit of 'bling' and so Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush #141897 was added to the flower.

Thank you for joining us again today.  Please be sure to 'hop' along with my fellow independent Demonstrators below, to see more wonderful inspirational ideas.

Stampin' Up! has really changed my life, introducing me to many, many new friends, several of whom were never crafters but 'got the bug' and are now wonderful customers, some of whom also joined my downline team.

If you wish to know more about being an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and the fabulous joining offer, then please contact me on the details below, but hurry the current offer finishes at 31st March.  Now who wouldn't love to have up to £210 craft stash of their own choosing, in their starter kit, plus catlogues, stationery and free postage on top ...... all for just £99 !!  Please give me a call.

Happy craftin'

Friends of SUBA bring you Easter Inspiration

Hi and welcome to today's Blog Hop with Friends of SUBA, Simply Unique Business Angels, featuring projects with a Spring/Easter theme.  You are currently visiting Sandra at my Stamp & Craft Studio here in Norfolk, UK.

Thinking of what to share with you on todays hop theme, started me thinking of the bunches of daffodils being sold in the shops and those showing their cheery faces after the recent heavy snow.   I've chosen to share with you a another Daffodil card, this time using the smaller cluster of daffodils from You're Inspiring stamp set #145805 (W) #145808 (C) on a set of mini notecards/tags, in a cute little crate.  I like to think of this stamp as the Tete-A-Tete variety as they are the small ones.

To create the crate, I cut two Wood Crate Framelits #143730 from half sheet of A4 Crumb Cake card.  I stamped the  Crumb Cake colour crate with Soft Suede ink, using the Hardwood background stamp #133032 (W) #133035 (C), making sure that the wood panels go downwards.

The line of daffodils were stamped in Basic Black Archival ink #140931 and stamped twice onto white card.  Flowers were coloured using Watercolour Pencils #141709, cut by hand and attached to front of crate, trimming the 2nd image to fit as required.

These mini cards were created from one sheet of A4.  With long side of card at the top of your trimmer, cut at 14cm and again at 28cm.  Turn these pieces and cut both of them at 7cm and 14cm.  Score each piece in half at 7cm to create six mini notecards.

This was a single layer notecard, stamping directing on to the card base, colouring in with Watercolour Pencils and adding a sentiment.
Here I stamped the dots on the background.  To make up the topper, cut a Starburst Punch #143717 from Old Olive card #106576.  Die-cut Daffodil Delight card #121680 using a 1-7/8" Die from Layering Circles Framelits #141705.
This card uses the same layout but stamping the Hardwood background directly onto the base card.  Sentiments for all the cards were stamped onto Whisper White card and punched out using the Classic Label punch #141491.
Pop inside a cello bag and tie with a piece of Old Olive 1/8" Sheer Ribbon #144171 to make a lovely little gift, all wrapped up and ready for it's recipient.  Wouldn't this little crate look fabulous with a cello bag of Cadburys Mini Eggs.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you have enjoyed what you have seen so far.  Please continue along our 'hop' by click here to go to Deborah's blog and see what lovely inspiration she has to share with you.

Here is the full list of those 'hopping' today, so you can be sure to visit everyone and see the wonderful creations being shared.

Tick Tock, Crafty Clock

....... and now for something completely different !!!

Back in January, whilst planning for my Spring Retreat weekends, a couple of special projects made their way to the display table at Sincerely Yours show in Thetford.

Two of my Crafty O.W.L.S. team members volunteered to help on the day and we had a 'planning' session where I shared new projects to display.  Each of them  received a 'kit' so they could make their own version themselves.

My Retreat attendees receive approximately £100 of Stampin' Up! products and other items to complete a whole weekend of projects, complete with full colour instructions.  This CD clock was one of those projects.
The projects have been under wraps until after my ladies had all attended Retreat this weekend, but I wanted to share my new project with you and also those created by Cheryl and Jacqui.   Please pop along to visit  and see what they have created for their clocks, by clicking on their names below.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing these projects today and will be back to see more inspirational crafting soon.
