Our theme today is 'Anything Crafty with current Stampin' Up! products'. Here in the UK, we have just had a week of heavy snow and after several days topping up our heaviest snowfall, for about 20-years, the rain finally finished off the thawing process today. With weather like this, it was hard to think about Spring projects, especially with my husband David, suggesting cards featuring snowmen !
Next Sunday we celebrate Mothers Day and so I've gone back to the beautiful daffodils featured in You're Inspiring #145805 (W) #145808 (C).
Over the weekend, I posted a card I've recently CASED a card on p17 in the Stampin' Up! Spring Summer catalogue using the Perennial Birthday stamp set. This was also the inspiration for todays layout, using different colours and stamps.
I've used a Powder Pink card base, a Wild Wasabi mat layer, stamping daffodils from You're Inspiring onto the Whisper White layer. Images were stamped in Basic Gray and coloured using the Watercolour Pencils #141709 and Aqua Painter #103954. The Mothers Day sentiment is from Thoughtful Banners #141614 (P) and was stamped repetitively to create a themed background.
My next card uses the same layout on a Daffodil Delight card base, with a mat layer of Wild Wasabi card and another Daffodil stamp from the same set stamped onto Whisper White. The sky has been created using a Soft Sky watercolour wash and the same for the grass. The Happy Easter stamp was repetitively stamped as above in Soft Sky ink pad.
I hope you have enjoyed my projects today. Please continue along the Global 'hop' by clicking next on the list.
