Friends of SUBA bring you Easter Inspiration

Hi and welcome to today's Blog Hop with Friends of SUBA, Simply Unique Business Angels, featuring projects with a Spring/Easter theme.  You are currently visiting Sandra at my Stamp & Craft Studio here in Norfolk, UK.

Thinking of what to share with you on todays hop theme, started me thinking of the bunches of daffodils being sold in the shops and those showing their cheery faces after the recent heavy snow.   I've chosen to share with you a another Daffodil card, this time using the smaller cluster of daffodils from You're Inspiring stamp set #145805 (W) #145808 (C) on a set of mini notecards/tags, in a cute little crate.  I like to think of this stamp as the Tete-A-Tete variety as they are the small ones.

To create the crate, I cut two Wood Crate Framelits #143730 from half sheet of A4 Crumb Cake card.  I stamped the  Crumb Cake colour crate with Soft Suede ink, using the Hardwood background stamp #133032 (W) #133035 (C), making sure that the wood panels go downwards.

The line of daffodils were stamped in Basic Black Archival ink #140931 and stamped twice onto white card.  Flowers were coloured using Watercolour Pencils #141709, cut by hand and attached to front of crate, trimming the 2nd image to fit as required.

These mini cards were created from one sheet of A4.  With long side of card at the top of your trimmer, cut at 14cm and again at 28cm.  Turn these pieces and cut both of them at 7cm and 14cm.  Score each piece in half at 7cm to create six mini notecards.

This was a single layer notecard, stamping directing on to the card base, colouring in with Watercolour Pencils and adding a sentiment.
Here I stamped the dots on the background.  To make up the topper, cut a Starburst Punch #143717 from Old Olive card #106576.  Die-cut Daffodil Delight card #121680 using a 1-7/8" Die from Layering Circles Framelits #141705.
This card uses the same layout but stamping the Hardwood background directly onto the base card.  Sentiments for all the cards were stamped onto Whisper White card and punched out using the Classic Label punch #141491.
Pop inside a cello bag and tie with a piece of Old Olive 1/8" Sheer Ribbon #144171 to make a lovely little gift, all wrapped up and ready for it's recipient.  Wouldn't this little crate look fabulous with a cello bag of Cadburys Mini Eggs.
