Welcome to my first 'hop' with the Colour Combo Blog Hop group !
I LOVE this colour combination and tailored this project around these colours to share with my Spring Retreat Weekend ladies and you my Blog readers today.
Today I've chosen to share with you a set of cards using Eclectic Expressions stamp set, available FREE from the current Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration promotion.
Each Retreat attendee received the Eclectic Expression stamp set in their goodie bag and made this ensemble as one of their weekend projects.
This box was created using the Envelope Punch Board and is approximately 1" wide. Trim a 12" Basic Black card to 10.5" square. With one edge of card on Envelope Punch Board, punch and score at 3-7/8" and then again with left-hand edge of card level with the edge of the Envelope Punch Board. Turn card, then punch and score again on next side, lining up on previous score lines. Repeat on all remaining sides. Crease edges and make up box, snipping out top corners.
A 'belly band' was added, to hold the box shut. Above and below the sentiment were stamped in Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight ink, using the small dots from the Eclectic Expressions stamp set.
This card is stamped with the large splodges in Pear Pizzazz ink, the smaller splodges in Daffodil Delight ink and lines and dots with Basic Black ink.
For this card I also added a mat layer using the NEW Basket Weave Embossing Folder, another product available FREE during Sale-A-Bration, but will be available to purchase in the next Annual Catalogue, being released on 1st June.
The following three cards were posted last week, featuring projects created using Sale-A-Bration 2nd release items. These were part of the same collection.
