Today sadly my Retreat attendees were unable to safely travel to Norfolk due to the continued heavy snowfalls. We currently have over 6" deep and still it continues to snow. With current minus temperatures, there is no sign of a change as yet but I am pleased to have managed to reschedule everyone very soon.
With my weekends plans changed, I thought I would post some recent cards CASED from the Stampin' Up! Spring Summer catalogue. These are featured on p17 of the catalogue and were created on one of my craft days with one of my Stampin' Up! Team.
I really enjoyed making this CASE (Copy and Share Everything) card, moving away from my favourite Lemon & Lime Twist, used in the catalogue photo. I think I've been using this a bit too much lately as I absolutely LOVE it.
Alison was using this in one of her classes and was keen to make the catalogue cards in the card colours that corresponded to the Perennial Birthday Project Kit #145579.
Here we chose to each make samples using Flirty Flamingo card base, but thought it needed a bit of a lift, with the Basic Black layer making all the difference.
The cards have all been created using Perennial Birthday #145757 (W) #145760 (C).
The left of these two 10cm cards was a direct CASE from the catalogue,
The right hand card has been repeated or CASED but colours have been completely changed, this time using Old Olive card base, with a Flirty Flamingo mat layer and stamped in the same two colours.
Please pop back to see me on Monday as I will be taking part in another Global 'hop' and will be using the layout of this first card, but changing the stamp set completely.
Happy craftin'
Sandra
